Update 15th January 2020

Thank you to everyone who was able to come to our open events at the Roundswell Community Centre. Kate Fairbrother, Head Teacher and Emma Stubbs, School Business Manager, commented on the buzz of the steady stream of people throughout the morning and evening. I hope you were able to see the video of the new school.

I met with our construction firm yesterday, who again reassured me that the building will be ready by July 2020. The foundations have been laid, utilities in place and the school car park being tarmacked! They will begin construction of the building in mid-February and as the building is modular the whole school will be assembled and complete in just a few months.

I am impressed by the scale of the school site and the potential for sport and environmental studies. The construction firm aim to leave the school with an environmental area; so important for future generations.
